BB&B Episode 70
“Come and Knock On Our Door”
You better have lots of time on your hands for this Episode because its a long one. BB&B get things started by discussing cover bands and the grown dudes who ogle over them like a cheerleader after the starting QB. Bunkie had the pleasure of rockin’ n rollin’ in Harger-tucky, with RedWing, where they hopped into the Delorean and went back to 1988. Meanwhile, Big Brown is busy getting blacked out in DC thanks to our old nemesis warm GM….I just puked in my mouf typing that.
In Segment 2 the fellas shock the world by discussing sports, specifically the NFL and NBA lockouts. The convo is centered around these player-organized practices and how they feel about this…. Now I’m light-headed thinking about our sportstalk while typing that.
In Segment 3 BB&B stay on sports but move into combat sports where they discuss MMA vs Boxing and the cards for both over the weekend. Big Brown then makes an impromptu announcement about his plan to start BB&B’s own MMA Organization that will rival the UFC and Dana White. They round out the MMA talk with Dana White’s genius idea of embracing social media and how they wish their listeners would embrace it as well as UFC fighters have.
Life Sherpas make a sudden appearance as there is a surprise call in from the one and only Rooster and continues with a question from a listener. It seems that the Life Sherpas are always on the clock which is great because Bunkie needs some advice himself about the current Three’s Company situation he has going on at home. Unfortunately, there is no Regal Beagle for him to escape to unless you consider his bedroom (equipped with his new TV) his oasis.
This Episode is closed out with some ironic news about Dateline NBC’s Chris Hansen getting caught by surveillance cameras, money grubbing coozes like DSK’s accuser, Crystal Harris and their commitment to getting T-Shirts out to listeners.
